Operations Analyst (Supply Chain Management)
DUTIES: Analyzes data to forecast company’s international plastic and other raw material sourcing requirements based on current and prior demand-sales figures broken down by product, identification of market trends, and other sources of data. May require preliminary modeling of methodology for forecasting. Oversee material purchasing, including pure chemical and industrial procurement, and inventory control processes to maintain purity and reliable materials supply. Monitor supply contracts in force for compliance with timeliness, volume, and purity requirements. Improve design of comprehensive supplier and logistics provider database, as well as local third-party processors. Prepare formal reports on supply chain/logistics performance measures, formulating recommendations for streamlined processes and related process improvements for management consideration. Tracks, monitors, and objectively measures the benefit of implemented solutions for identified issues, requiring solicitation of data from appropriate sources within the company and with third-party providers. Applies company policies and procedures in the resolution of a variety of product supply chain issues, and, in appropriate cases, recommends changes in business process. Performs gap analysis.
Requirements:
1. EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Closely related.
2. Experience: 2 years of experience in the job offered as Operations Analyst, OR, Supply Chain and Logistics Analyst as alternate occupation
